“The Davidic and Abrahamic covenants are antecedents to the New Covenant. The announcement God made to Abraham was the Gospel pre-figured, stating that God Himself would justify the heathen. In receiving this announcement that the Logos has preselected him to embody the justification of the Gentiles, Abraham became the pioneer of the blessing. Justification is the ultimate blessing. It implies God relates with you without the notion of sin. God’s covenant with Abraham was a preview of His universal justification. Abraham believed he was justified, therefore, he lived blessed.
Sin consciousness is the only link between you and destruction, sickness, and poverty. Abraham journeyed with God in faith and learned a continual consecration with seven-fold separation. This is vital because we all will experience this same seven-fold separation in our walk of faith:- From familiarity: There is a walk of faith in Christ and we walk with Him just as we received Him. Trusting God implies, most often, complete ignorance of details.- From Self-preservation. – From who and what does not share the vision.- From a secular concept of money (adopting the values of the secular world)- From self-made plans- From despondency, passivity- From the notion of a violent GodGod is causing us to be more accurate in our association with Him, in walking with Him.” Dr. Shawn Smith (The Infallible Promises of God)https://gcmonlinestore.com/…/52-the-infallible-promises…
